I received my letter at 2 am which started the positive vibe for my day. After reading, I returned to sleep and woke up at 6:30 am for the 8:40 mass. God’s message resonated with what I have been thinking for the past week: Please God, not People! I admit I celebrated my birthday alone which invigorated me because I wanted to have a quiet celebration. So I just watched Sisters at Tanforan and went home after that. For my birthday, I decided to go back as usual to my goals for the year and strengthen those, stick them to memory as much as possible. For this year, I commit to having an abundant life. Unlike before, my goals centered around that theme.
Back to the old to-do list again!
Went to Prime early in the morning to buy Lotto tickets because it is illegal in Nevada. We ended up not buying anything though because of the long line. Today, my trip is finally over with Ana leaving first. I got my chance of consulting a fortune teller face to face at Fremont Street, Las Vegas. She said that I am highly intellectual, creative, have the gift of writing and drawing, have long life, good health, nice flow of money. After that, we moved on to tarot card reading. She was fast. I don’t know but she says things even before she turns the card. I have background in Tarot so I know that what she’s relaying relates to the card drawn. What was shocking was the same man they kept talking about who is a King of Pentacles, very rich and number smart. She also said that 2016 is gonna be a great year. And moved on to telling me what will happen each month. After claiming abundance, I finally bid goodbye to readings. All their readings coincided with one another: focus on career, the man is rich. I leave up to God now while I improve myself and build my wealth.
After church, they treated us at Vegas buffet, then gave each of us 20-dollar bill which we luckily doubled. Also, watched 50 Shades of Parody.
Toured around the Strip with Ana the whole day
I was supposed to take Uber but because of the price, I took the Blue Line instead to O’hare airport. Glad I did because I met Pam who instantly like. She’s an exchange student from Monash university, taking Chemical Engineering yet she’s so humble and warm. I felt that she liked me too. In the evening, the Stevens family welcomed us to their home in Vegas.
I took a trolley tour around Chicago. My first stop was at Art Institue of Chicago where I met kind old people who took my pic and where I fell in love with Renoir and Monet. I then went to Millineum park to have a touristy photo with cloudgate. After that, I took the trolley again and got drop off at Navy Pier. Not much to see there though. Because of the schedule, I decided to have one round without hopping off to get a feel of the city. My last stop was at John Hancock center where I watched Chicago at night again. I decided not to check my map and toured around, walking from there to HI Chicago. I love the city. I really loved my experience.
